Frequently Asked Questions
Can lip filler look natural?
Absolutely. When done thoughtfully, lip filler can enhance shape and softness without changing how you look. The key is conservative placement, strategic balancing of the lower face, and respecting your natural anatomy.
How long does lip filler last?
Most lip filler lasts between 6 and 12 months. Longevity depends on the product used, how much is placed, and how your body metabolizes filler.
Does lip filler hurt?
Most clients describe lip injections as uncomfortable but manageable. A strong topical numbing cream is used, and the appointment is quick.
How much lip filler do I need?
That depends on your lip structure and goals. Many clients do best with a gradual approach rather than trying to achieve everything in one visit. Building results gradually also ensures your results remain natural-looking.
What is nasolabial fold filler?
Nasolabial fold filler refers to using dermal filler to soften the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth. Rather than filling the fold directly, our treatment approach often focuses on restoring cheek support so the area relaxes naturally.
Does filler help wrinkles?
Yes, when wrinkles are caused by volume loss. Filler can soften deeper lines by restoring support beneath the skin. Muscle-driven wrinkles are usually better treated with neuromodulators.
Is filler the same as Botox?
- No. Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that relax overactive muscles to soften expression lines like forehead lines and crow’s feet.
- Dermal filler works differently. It restores volume and support in areas affected by aging, such as the cheeks or temples, and can soften deepening nasolabial folds that develop as facial volume shifts over time.
What’s the difference between dermal filler and Sculptra?
Dermal filler restores volume immediately by placing hyaluronic acid-based gel beneath the skin. Sculptra, a biostimulatory injectable, works more gradually to encourage your body to rebuild collagen. For soft-tissue volume loss, long-term collagen support, or early prevention, Sculptra may be recommended. For restoration of structure and shape, dermal filler is often the better fit.
